8-week live coaching cohort

Let’s build a confident learner—one small reading moment at a time.

Open the RBK app each morning. In about 15 seconds, you will know exactly what to do with your 2–4-year-old—then put the screen away and learn together through play.

Rhonda Farmer

Founder and Creator of Read by Kindergarten

I am a mom of four, a grandmother, and a former licensed healthcare administrator. After 15 years working closely with young children and families, I used what I learned about how toddlers participate, pull away, and build confidence to create RBK. A child I began teaching on his second birthday was reading at a first-grade level while still three.

I personally review your short videos and tell you specifically what to continue, adjust, or teach next.

Built for real life with a toddler

The app guides the parent. The parent teaches the child.

RBK’s core learning happens away from the screen. The app guides you; your child learns through movement, conversation, and play.

Parent App

Your 15-second morning read

See that day’s words and activity, then put the screen away. Use the page on screen, or print it if you prefer. Record how it went and keep progress organized. Use the Parent Guide whenever you want pronunciation or extra help.

Movement makes memories stick

Young children learn with their whole bodies.

A child learns the E sound by cracking an egg—not by sitting at a table being tested. RBK purposefully pairs sounds with active, playful moments.

Optional Kid Practice

You choose the practice. Your child gets a simple screen.

First, choose the letters and practice options in Parent Settings. Then hand over a separate, uncluttered practice screen. Kid Practice is optional extra practice—not the core RBK lesson.

  • You control exactly which letters appear.
  • You choose sound, tracing, replay, and timing options.
  • Your child sees only the practice experience.

A real RBK reading moment

This is one child’s experience, not a promise of a specific timeline. Children develop and progress at different rates.

“The guessing stress was gone. I knew what to do each day, and when I had questions, I could ask and get reassurance we were doing it right.”
Reagan · Mom
“We finally felt confident we were doing it right. RBK gave us clear next steps, starting with letter sounds, and that was exactly what he needed.”

Good to know

Questions parents ask.

When does the cohort begin?
Start dates are set separately for each cohort and shared with families before the group begins. Only 10 families participate at a time, and a new group is not guaranteed every month.
When are the live Zoom calls?
Before the cohort begins, families are asked about their availability. Rhonda then selects the weekly day and time that works best for the group. Some scheduling flexibility is possible, but individual preferences cannot be guaranteed. If you miss a call, you will receive the important notes and may email Rhonda with questions.
Is $597 the full program price?
Yes. The program is a one-time $597 purchase. Applicable sales tax, if any, is calculated at checkout. There is no RBK subscription or in-house payment plan. Eligible customers may see installment options offered independently through Shopify; the payment provider determines availability and terms.
